Last night had a really good run. Did 6.35 miles of hills in 1:03. Fast for me. First time I had run that particular course in 4-5 weeks. Did the 1st 6 in sub 10min/mile. Overall was sub 10 as well. Went out slow for the 1st mile to warm up in the sub-freezing temps. Finished strong up a hill that is in my head as very difficult. Was not so hard last night.
The nights running in the cold, the mornings in the weight room, the afternoon/evenings in the pool, the long runs, the hills followed by more hills, the decisions at meal time are paying off.
